Request Data Deletion

โน๏ธ Partial Deletion: Keep your account active while removing specific wishlists, items, or personal data.
You can request deletion of specific data without removing your entire GiftListy account. This is useful if you want to clean up certain lists or items while keeping your login active.
๐ง How to Request Partial Deletion
- Email support@giftlisty.com from your account email
- Use the subject line: "Delete my data (partial)"
- Clearly specify what you want deleted:
- Specific wishlist names or IDs
- Individual items
- Profile information (bio, preferences, etc.)
- Include any relevant context or reasons
๐ก Using Sign in with Apple?
If you used "Hide My Email", include your relay email (ending with @privaterelay.appleid.com) so we can locate your account.
โ What We Can Delete
- Selected wishlists: Individual occasion lists and all their items
- Individual items: Specific products or entries from any list
- Reservations: Your claimed items on shared lists
- Profile data: Bio, preferences, and optional information (excluding login credentials)
๐ What We May Retain
- Account essentials: Email and user ID (required to keep your account active)
- Purchase records: Minimal transaction data for billing and tax compliance (up to 3 years by law)
- Aggregated analytics: De-identified usage data that can't be linked back to you
โฑ๏ธ Timeline
We verify and process partial deletion requests within 7 business days. You'll receive a confirmation email once the specified data has been removed.
